Why should I sell my work on AcaDemon?

AcaDemon AU gives you the chance to profit from the papers that you worked hard to write. AcaDemon AU allows you to sell your work to interested buyers in Australia and around the world who are willing to pay for your ideas. AcaDemon AU is easy to use and costs you nothing.

What do I get?

When you sell a paper on AcaDemon AU, we set the price of the paper, and when someone buys it, you get 50% of the profit. We send a cheque to you three times a year. For example, if you have a paper for sale for $20, and it is sold 5 times, you will get $50.

You can now get even more!

Besides the 50% royalties you will make upon the purchase of your work, we are now offering you US $10 (around AUD$15) for simply uploading your work onto our website.

To receive the money, the paper must:

• Be submitted with an abstract
• Have five pages or more
• Be a university-level paper
• Contain bibliographical references

How do I sell my paper on AcaDemon AU?

First, you must register as a seller on the site, which you do by going to New Seller Registration.

Can I sell my papers if I live in Australia? And how would I receive the royalty payments?

Absolutely. AcaDemon AU will be happy to publish your essays. Any royalty payments resulting from papers that you sell on AcaDemon AU will be sent to your mailing address as appears on your seller's account.

Why do I need to register in order to sell my work on AcaDemon AU?

• We need an address and some payment information in order to send you the money you earn from your work.
• You also have to read and agree to a licensing agreement before you can submit your first paper. This agreement confirms that:
• You own the rights to sell your work to AcaDemon AU and that AcaDemon AU has the right to sell it.
• AcaDemon AU is not responsible for someone taking credit for another's work and trying to sell it.

After you are done registering yourself as a seller, you must do the following in order to submit your work:

• Spell-check and proofread the document (or have someone else do it).
• Remove protection, password, and other security features you may have in your file.
• Make sure to include a bibliography in your paper.
• Write a short abstract

  • Mention if the work contains illustrations, charts, etc.
  • Do not put details like the name of the class or the professor for whom the paper was written - we delete all such information from the paper anyway.

What about copyright issues?

What is a copyright?

A copyright is the right to make copies of your work, to distribute copies to the public, to prepare derivative works, perform the work in public, and to display the work in public.

Who can claim the copyright?

Naturally when a work is created the original author owns the copyright. This can change if the copyright is sold or given to another person by the author of the work. In most cases, you know whether you own the copyright of your work. Nonetheless, if you are not sure we recommend that you check with a legal professional.

How much does it cost me?

Nothing. Using AcaDemon AU's services does not cost you one cent.

How and when do I get my money?

AcaDemon AU will send you a cheque at the beginning of January, May and September. For example, checks for royalties earned between January to April will be sent in May. Remember, you get 50% of the revenues every time your paper is downloaded. For example, if the price of your paper is $30, and it is downloaded by 10 buyers, you get $150. Every time your paper is sold, you will get an email notification. Also, AcaDemon AU has created a revolutionary system in which you can check your account any time in order to see how much money you will be getting.

What can I do to make my paper more attractive to potential buyers?

In order to make your paper more sellable, we suggest that you include the following with your paper:

• A title
• A descriptive subtitle
• An abstract (a summary of your paper). Remember: the abstract is what helps you sell your paper. Make it as clear and concise as possible. We recommend that if your paper is more than 10 pages, you write a more detailed abstract and include a table of contents.
• Keywords that would help a potential buyer find your paper with our search engine. Do not include redundant words such as "or," "and," or "the," or words already in the title.
• Word count (not including the title and the bibliography)
• Appropriate academic categories in which the paper belongs.

What about my privacy rights?

AcaDemon AU undertakes not to reveal your personal information to any third party without your explicit consent. AcaDemon AU is entitled to use the personal information you give and information it collects regarding the manners of use of this website, in order to improve the services offered by it, to establish the connection with you (if needed), or to analyze statistics and give this analysis to third parties, including advertisers. In using such personal information, AcaDemon AU will not identify you personally.

How soon will my paper be available for downloading by potential buyers?

Papers that are submitted to AcaDemon AU are reviewed within 14 days from the time that they are uploaded. You will be notified of your paper's status via email.

How will I know if my paper has been sold?

AcaDemon AU will notify you by email whenever a buyer downloads your paper. Moreover, AcaDemon AU has created a system that allows you to check the status of your account and see how many papers you have sold any time.

Why was my submission to AcaDemon AU rejected?

There are a number of possible reasons:

• We believe that your work is not the highest quality, and, because AcaDemon AU accepts only the best papers, we cannot publish your work.
• Something may be wrong with the file. If it is not sent in one of our acceptable formats, we cannot post it on our site.
• We detected plagiarism, and, because of our commitment to academic ethics, we cannot publish your work.

If your paper is rejected, you will be notified by email within 14 days.

How the price is set?

After reviewing the paper, our academic staff will determine the price. This will be calculated according to various factors such as the paper academic level and the number of pages.

It is our policy to charge our customers between AUD $6-10 per page, depending on the paper level and length. All our essays are fairly and reasonably priced, when compared to prices on other essay sites (which sell their essays beginning at AUD $12 per page).

What if I want to change the price of my paper after I have submitted and published it?

In general, all prices on our website are unchangeable and we dedicate a long time examining your paper and pricing it. Please note that if your paper has not been purchased, it is not necessarily because the price is too high / low, but probably because nobody has requested a paper on that topic.

However, if you still feel strongly about changing the price, please send us a detailed message, with the name and number of the paper, along with the suggested price. We reserve the right to decline the change if we believe the price to be too high / low.

What if I need to change the mailing address listed on my profile?

If you need to change your mailing address, go to the Seller's Area of the AcaDemon AU website and you will be able to change the information there.

Note that the mailing address is the address to which your checks will be mailed, so make sure that your mailing address on your profile is current.
