The more profit the industry makes, the more the investors will invest. It attempts to show how, in the end, the high price of pharmaceuticals today is really only supporting the development of the advanced, innovative medicines of tomorrow.

"Today, there are more than 68,000 pharmaceutical sales representatives in the United States (Oldani). And, it is most certainly their job to sell their product. Like many other sales reps, in a plethora of industries, pharmaceutical sales representative use a variety of methods to ensure that their products name will be at the tip of their customer's tongue when that customer has to make a decision about which product to use. Some have insinuated that these methods, so common in every other industry, in the pharmaceutical industry are a form of bribery and coerce the physicians into prescribing their medicine more frequently than they should."
