Meetings serve to ?reinforce the image of the founders as special people are opportunities for articulating the founders? philosophies? (127). During meetings, status differences within the organization are displayed by rewarding high selling sales people and inviting them to sit on stage with the founders. There are ?people who are separated and honored, and the rest are reminded of their inferior status? (140). This recognition of status ignites the sales force and directly impacts the market within the DSO."
