(Johnson, D., 1997, p205) Therefore it was surprising to discover that the ground surrounding the general attendee parking area at this event was uneven and unsurfaced. . In order to then gain access to the main areas of the showground it was also necessary to climb rocky embankments especially dangerous in wet weather.
