This paper explains that at a construction site, simple negligence can exacerbate into a dangerous hazard: The main victims of these hazards are the laborers, but the responsibility to provide a safe working environment belongs to the owners of the construction site. The author points out that the government of Australia is actively engaged in promoting occupational safety measures, which are applicable to the employers, employees and others who have an influence on the hazards in a workplace such as contractors, designers and other logistic suppliers.
